Freestyle Training Team - Registration NOW OPEN!

The Freestyle Training Team is for young skiers and snowboarders who are looking to either begin or progress their freestyle skiing or snowboarding in a fun, mentor-based environment. Team members can expect to learn freestyle techniques that will best prepare them for conquering the terrain park and mountain, all while enjoying the slopes and meeting new friends. The Freestyle Team will use all park and natural features appropriate to the team’s skill level including, but not limited to, boxes, rails, and jumps; natural jibs and airs; and flatland maneuvers. All participants must have and wear their own well-fitting, snowsports-specific helmet.

  • The Freestyle Training Team is a multidisciplinary 5-week youth program, open to skiers and snowboarders age 7 and older.
  • The program runs Saturday afternoons from January 28, 2023, through March 4, 2023, excluding President’s Day Saturday, Feb. 18.
  • Skiers must be able to comfortably ski blue groomed terrain in a parallel stance to be accepted to the team.

  • Snowboarders must be able to comfortably ride blue groomed terrain, turning both toe and heel-side to be accepted to the team.

  • Children must be able to ride the chairlift by themselves or with another child.

  • Program cost: $199

  • Sessions will be a half day, from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Regardless of your child’s freestyle goals, our instructors will challenge them to the limit of their skill set. Whether they are intermediate or advanced on groomed terrain, this program is designed to have something to offer all junior skiers and riders with an interest in freestyle. The coaches for this team will use the most up-to-date curriculum to help your child explore the fundamental movements of freestyle skiing and riding.
