Ski with a Ranger

See how the Forest Service and Red Lodge Mountain work together to prevent fires. Drew Grimes Fuels Asst. Fire Mgt. Officer will lead a group of skiers down Lazy M stopping a various locations to discuss hazardous fuel reduction planning efforts underway with Red Lodge Mountain to deal with managing vegetation  for wildland fire planning around the ski area.

Meet on the Midway Deck at 1:00 PM.  The program involves going on a ski run with a Forest Service employee (Ranger) to learn about what is going on the Beartooth Ranger District.  Skiers need to be intermediate ability and the entire presentation will take 45 minutes to no more than an hour.  Maximum number of skiers would be 50, there is no registration or cost.
