This event is also open to skiers and riders of all ages & ability levels.\nIn the terrain park\, contestants have 2 runs to throw their best 90’s throwback trick (think Daffy’s & Spread Eagles) and are scored on their style and commitment to 90’s flair. Bonus points are issued for creativity and mullets. Our friends at Pit Viper are sponsoring this event and have hooked it up participants with some nifty 90’s sunglasses as prizes. \nGrab your fanny packs and get up here\, Red Lodge Mountain is about to get radical.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 7th annual Grant Tyler Memorial. Red Lodge Mountain and the Silver Run Race Team co-host an International Freeskiers and Snowboarders Association (IFSA) sanctioned junior freeride competition. Freeriders are scored based on line choice\, fluidity\, technique\, control\, and style as they navigate through natural terrain featuring trees\, steeps\, cliffs\, chutes\, drops and gullies where they are rewarded for using the features creatively. The spring snow at Red Lodge Mountain is legendary as are it’s blue skies. \nThe competition is open to ages U12-18. Our venue is perfect for those new to competition.\nThe cost for the 2 days is $50. \nAthlete check-in: TBA\nInspection date: TBA \n\n\n\nPlease note: all athletes must have an IFSA license to compete in this event. \nVisit Freeskiers.org to register or for more information.
