Red Lodge Mountain

Mountain Operations

2021/22 COVID-19 policy

UPDATE: November 17, 2021

  • Masks will be required in the locker rooms.
  • Masks are highly recommended indoors when you are unable to social distance.

Please note that our health and safety policies can be changed at any time and will be updated on our website accordingly. We appreciate your cooperation as we all adjust to this new normal.

Make your vehicle your basecamp. With capacity within our lodges significantly restricted this season, you should plan to use your car as your base lodge to put on your gear, warm up, take breaks and eat your lunch.

Face Masks are required in locker rooms.

Indoors we highly recommend face masks when unable to social distance.

The best way to guarantee yourself a lift ticket is to purchase online and in advance. Purchasing your ticket online also guarantees you’ll score the best price.

Tickets are available to purchase at the ticket window, but we encourage you to purchase online for the best price!

Quarantine your Season Pass, 6-Tix or Lift Ticket by keeping it in a pocket by itself.  Thanks to our new RFID ultra-high frequency cards, you can leave your season pass, 6-tix, or lift ticket in your pocket. Our lift operators will greet you with a quick swish of the hand scanner, and you’ll be on your way. Just remember, a quarantined card must be in a pocket by itself in order to scan properly.

With the new RFID technology in place, you’ll be able to purchase your lift ticket online and then pick it up at one of our self-serve kiosks in the base area. Skip the ticket office and go directly to the lift.

Save your Lift Ticket (RFID Card), and reload your next ski day online. Not only is reloading your RFID Card super easy, it’s also eco-friendly. Then on your next visit, you can skip the ticket office and go directly to the lift. Instructions on how to reload coming soon.

Lodge Seating is for Food & Beverage service only.

We understand that this will be a tough one, especially when the bitter cold Montana weather hits. The Bierstube and Main Lodge will all be open 7-days a week, and have a host to seat you and your party.

In the Bierstube, reservations are strongly recommended. Click here to make a reservation

Be courteous to your fellow skiers and riders by limiting your time indoors, so that others can come in to eat and warm up. Lengthy reserving or holding/saving tables for others will not be permitted. During our busy days, consider adjusting the time of your lunch to avoid the rush and get seated immediately

Due to limited capacity in our lodges sack lunches will not be allowed inside.  If you bring your own food to consume, please use your car as your basecamp.
