The Junior Golf Program

Red Lodge Mountain's Junior Golf Program has long been popular among the area’s young golfers looking to improve their game. The 2015 Junior Program will run weekdays from June 15 – 18 & 22 - 25, including a club fitting day on June 11.

Program times:
Ages 8-10: 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Ages 11 - 13: 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

The Junior Golf Program will focus on swing fundamentals, skills testing, course play, golf rules and etiquette, and most of all, having fun. The program will culminate in a Junior Golf Tournament and pizza party on the last day.

The cost for the program is $125 per golfer, or $75 for golfers with a Red Lodge Mountain golf season pass. In addition to the 8 day program, all participants will receive an instructional booklet and an achievement pin.

Red Lodge Mountain Golf Academy

Dr. Arnie White, Director of Instruction for Red Lodge Mountain Golf Academy, is a Professor of Biomechanics at the University of Arizona and has been teaching/coaching at the college level for more than 25 years. He is Director of the University of Arizona PGAU Golf Program, a PGA Program designed to promote golf at the college and university level. Instruction includes the use of a state of the art video analysis system which allows both the instructor and student to view performance and to compare swings with those of a model.

The Red Lodge Golf Academy has been helping students to improve and enjoy playing the game of golf for the past 10 years.

On walk up basis Monday and Wednesday 9am to Noon.

  • Private Lessons with video - $65 (Two people = $40 each)
  • 5 Lesson series with video - $300 ( Two people = $200 each)
  • 2 Day Golf Academy, includes on course instruction - $300
  • Clinics - Available by apointment (minimum of three participants) - $25/person
