The town of Red Lodge has a storied and entertaining past, highlighted by a fuse of nationalities and cultures, near-fabled wild west tales and the monuments these different groups erected.

Few buildings in Red Lodge can claim the history and stature the Water’s Building can.  Built in 1901 on historic Broadway Ave, the striking brick building was first constructed as a bank.  In the year 1909, an addition was built on the rear of the building, which housed a restaurant.

In 2006 the building underwent a massive renovation. Red Lodge Mountain Resort moved into the space in May of 2010 and the rest, as they say, is history.
